Frida is a proud rescue from Puerto Rico, where she and her puppies were found in a graveyard and saved by Souls of Satos, one of the few organizations fighting a 94% euthanasia rate among over 600,000 stray dogs.

After being flown to the U.S., Frida found her forever home with ACT’s Mike DeMarco, a longtime supporter of the rescue who helps transport dogs to safety. That connection sparked something bigger.
Today, Frida inspires our Friends of Frida Program. For every new client or referral (reFURral), we sponsor a rescue dog’s flight to the U.S. Since launching the program, even our team members have joined the mission by adopting Souls of Satos rescues.
