Meet Frida DeMarco: ACT’s Chief Barketing Officer

Frida is a proud rescue from Puerto Rico, where she and her puppies were found living in a graveyard and saved by Souls of Satos, one of the few organizations fighting the island’s 94% euthanasia rate. 

After being flown to the U.S., Frida found her forever home with ACT’s Mike DeMarco, a longtime rescue volunteer. That connection sparked something bigger.

Inspired by Frida’s story, ACT founded the Friends of Frida Program to help rescue other dogs like her. For every new client and referral, ACT sponsors a rescue dog’s flight to the U.S. Since launching the program, several team members have joined the mission by adopting their own rescue pets from Souls of Satos.
